WHEREAS, ROBIN C. HERNDON, III, the owner of the hereinafter described
property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for
annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate
limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the
police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the
City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit:
Property is located along Scenic Highway 98, Fairhope, Alabama.

Commence at the Southwest Corner of Fractional Section 19, Township 6 South, Range
2 East, St. Stephen's Meridian, Alabama, and run North 00 degrees 12 minutes 30
seconds West, 1521.33 feet; thence run North 76 degrees 52 minutes 54 seconds West,
216.82 feet to a point on the Eastern margin of Scenic Highway Number 98; thence run
North 29 degrees 10 minutes 24 seconds East, 269.81 feet; thence run South 59 degrees
30 minutes 31 seconds East, 170.13 feet; thence run North 30 degrees 06 minutes 39
seconds East, 109.17 feet; thence run North 29 degrees 47 minutes 46 seconds East,
100.28 feet for a point of beginning; thence run North 59 degrees 49 minutes 40
seconds West, 171.54 feet to a point on the East margin of said highway; thence run
North 89 degrees 51 minutes 19 seconds East, 300.00 feet to a point situated 2.0 feet
East of the Southwest Corner of Lot 1, Chatwood Acres Subdivision, as shown by Map
or Plat thereof recorded at Slide File 1647-B, Probate Records, Baldwin County,
Alabama; thence run South 57 degrees 15 minutes 53 seconds West, 170.03 feet; thence
run North 60 degrees 12 minutes 14 seconds West, 10.00 feet to the point of beginning;
said tract contains 0.32 acres, more or less, and lies in Fractional Section 19, Township
6 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama.
The property conveyed hereby constitutes no part of Grantor's homestead nor that of
his spouse.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of
the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin
County, Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due adoption and publication as
required by law.

We, the undersigned PETITIONER/S, owner/s of the lands in fee simple described
in the attached EXHIBIT A, such property being without the Corporate Limits of
the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the said Corporate Limits;
and such property not lying within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction
of any other municipality, do, by these presents, hereby petition the City of
Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property be annexed into the City
of Fairhope, Alabama.
The subject land is delineated on the map attached hereto as EXHIBIT B.
This petition is filed under authority of Section 11-42-21, Code of Alabama,
1975, as amended.
