C-1-22 CITY OF FAIRHOPE CITY COUNCIL COVER SHEET February 14, 2000 ZC 99-26 Public Hearing to Consider the Request of Mr. and Mrs. Klumpp for a Zoning Change from RA -Residential Agricultural to R2- Single Family Residential (Located South of Fairhope Ave. and East of Thompson Hall) Mr. and Mrs. Klumpp are seeking a zoning change on approximately 12.5 acres from RA -Residential Agriculture to R2-Single Family Residential. This zoning change request is not in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan. The Plan indicates this property to remain as agricultural. A copy of the plan is attached. However, the Council has approved previous zoning change requests that have not been in compliance with the plan. The Planning Commission considered this request at the January 4, 2000 meeting and recommended approval.
