WHEREAS, FAIRHOPE SINGLE TAX CORPORATION, the owner of the
hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal
corporation, for annexation and zoning under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of
Alabama, 1975, as amended; and,
WHEREAS a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate
limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the
police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the
City of Fairhope, Alabama to -wit;
FAIRHOPE SINGLE TAX CORPORATION PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8478
TWIN BEECH ROAD, MORE PROPERLY DESCRIBED:
Commence at the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 28,
Township 6 South, Range 2 East as per map by Fairhope Title & Survey
Company, Inc. dated December 23,1996; run thence North 89 Degrees 49 Minutes
52 Seconds East for 661.28 Feet; run thence South 00 Degrees 21 Minutes 13
Seconds East for 40.18 Feet to the South Right -of -Way of County Road No. 44
(AKA Twin Beech Road) for the Point of Beginning; run thence South 00 Degrees
13 Minutes 22 Seconds West for 218.72 Feet; run thence South 00 Degrees 24
Minutes 45 Seconds West for 226.84 Feet; run thence South 00 Degrees 15 Minutes
39 Seconds West for 828.93 Feet; run thence South 00 Degrees 17 Minutes 40
Seconds West for 1292.41 Feet to the North Right -of -Way of Manley Road; run
thence South 89 Degrees 42 Minutes 30 Seconds West along the North Right -of -
Way of said Manley Road for 1407.27 Feet; run thence North 00 Degrees 00
Minutes 08 Seconds West for 1069.74 feet; run thence North 89 Degrees 59
Minutes 36 Seconds East for 699.88 Feet; run thence North 00 Degrees 00 Minutes
06 Seconds East for 1499.85 Feet to the South Right -of -Way of said County Road
No. 44; run thence North 89 Degrees 39 Minutes 10 Seconds East along the South
Right -of -Way of said County Road No. 44 for 720.29 Feet to the point of
beginning. 59.22 acres more or less.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this property will be zoned R-1 Low Density
Single -Family Residential District; and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of
the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin
County, Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due adoption and publication as
required by law.

We, the undersigned PETITIONER/S, owner/s of the lands in fee simple described
in the attached EXHIBIT A, such property being without the Corporate Limits of
the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the said Corporate Limits;
and such property not lying within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction
of any other municipality, do, by these presents, hereby petition the City of
Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property be annexed into the City
of Fairhope, Alabama.
The subject land is delineated on the map attached hereto as EXHIBIT B.
This petition is filed under authority of Section 11-42-21, Code of Alabama,
1975, as amended.
