ORDINANCE NO. 1042
WHEREAS, FAIRHOPE SINGLE TAY. CORPORATION (LEASEHOLDER:
CRAIG F. DYAS) the o,,,-.,ners of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing,
petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation and zoning under
Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended; and
Whereas, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate limits
of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police
jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of
Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit;
LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS
River Mill - Unit 3
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 67, River Mill Subdivision, Unit 2, as
recorded on Slide File 178-A, in the Office of the Judge of Probate, Baldwin County,
Alabama, and run thence South 18 18'13" East, 63.20 feet to an Iron Pin; thence run
South 00 23'07" West, 144.00 feet to an Iron Pin at the Southwest corner of Lot 39 of
said subdivision; thence run North 89 59'59" West, 75.00 feet to an Iron Pin; thence
run South 00 23'07" West, 310.00 feet to an Iron Pin; thence run North 89 59'59"
West, 615.88 feet to an Iron Pin; thence run North 00 23'07" East, 841.41 feet to a
Concrete Monument; thence run South 89 47'39" East, 667.93 feet to an Iron Pin on
the West line of Unit 2 of said subdivision; thence run South 00 05'20" East, along
said West line of subdivision, 325.00 feet to the point of beginning. Tract contains
12.6 acres, more or less.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this property will be zoned R-3 High Density Single -
Family Residential District concurrent with annexation; and
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of the
Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County,
Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effectt immediately upon its due adoption and publication as
required by law.

CONDITIONAL PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
We, the undersigned Petitioner/s, owner/s of the lands in fee simple described in the
attached Exhibit A, such property being without the corporate limits of the City of
Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the said corporate limits, and such property,':
not lying within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction of any other municipality
do, by these presents, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that
said property be annexed into the City of Fairhope, Alabama.
