AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 557
KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS:
The ordinance known as the Zoning Ordinance (No. 557), adopted
11 August 1975, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Fair -
hope, be and the same hereby is changed and altered in respect
to that certain property described below:
Charles Earle property located off of Spring Run Drive, more
properly described as: From the NE corner of the NE Quarter
of Section 21m T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama; run
S-00°00140"-E a distance of 1327.80 ft to a point; thence run
S-89°50138"-W a distance of 1142.28 ft to an iron pin; thence
runN-00°01103"-W a distance of 463.72 ft to an iron pin; thence
run N-89'50138"-E a distance of 10.6 ft to an iron pin; thence
run N-00'01103"-E a distance of 60 ft to an iron pin for thePOB;
thence run N-89°50138"-E a distance of 280.0 ft to an iron pin;
thence run N-00000144"-E a distance of 186.83 ft to a point;
thence run S-89050'38"-W a distance of 272.35 ft to an iron pin;
thence run N-89056136"-W a distance of 7.75 ft to an iron pin;
thence run S-00001103"-E a distance of 186.85 ft to the POB.
Said parcel contains 1.2 acres, more or less.
The classification of said property is hereby changed from
B4 Business & Professional to R4 Low Density Multi -Family and
it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any
structures permitted by Ordinance No. 557 and to use said premises
for any use permitted by Ordinance No. 557; provided the plans
for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property
shall be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Fairhope
and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Official
of the City of Fairhope and that any such structure be erected
only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements
of Ordinance No. 557.

the City Council on Monday, February 12, 1996, at 5:30 in
