CHATWOOD the owner of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended; and WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, that following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit: Property located at southern city limit on Scenic US 98 and Nelson Drive, more properly described as: Beginning at the SW corner of Section 19, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama, run North 1943.95 ft to the East right-of-way line of Highway 98; thence run North-30 °45'-E along said East right-of-way 50.89 ft, thence run N-89 ° 41'-44"-E along an old fence line 198 ft to the POB; thence continue North 89 ° 41'-44"-E along said old fence line 317 ft to an iron pipe, thence run North along an old fence line 190.8 ft to the South right-of-way line of Nelson Drive to an iron pipe; thence run along said South right-of-way line of Nelson Drive North 89 °54'-52"-W 317 ft to a point; thence run South 190.8 ft more or less to the POB, containing 1.39 acres more or less and lying in Section 19, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama.
