WHEREAS, JEFFERY AND IRENE WASHINGTON the owners
of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition
the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation
under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended;
and
WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition
as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying conti-
guous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama;
and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction
of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed
to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit:
Property is at 19650 South Ingleside, both parcels adjoin and is used as
one lot containing a house and a vegetable garden: described as:
From the SE corner of the NE4 of Sec 20, T6S, R2E, run North 625 ft, West
271 ft, North 80' West 240 ft, North 35 ft, and West 280 ft to the SW
corner of that certain lot conveyed by Will Reed by deed recorded in Deed
Book 137, p 115, to Helen Hamilton; then run North 79.5 ft for a POB:
Thence run North 89' West, 273.1 ft, thence run North 01*10' East 79.5 ft;
thence run South 89' East 273.1 ft; thence run South 01010' West 79.5 ft;
to the POB. Being the North Half of that certain property acquired by
Helen Hamilton, Deed Book 161, pps 238-9, Baldwin County Probate Records
of Baldwin County, Alabama. Contains 0.5 acres± in the SE4 of the NE41
Sec 20, T6S, R2E.
Commence at the NW corner of the SE4 of the NE4 of Sec 20, T6S, R2E, and
run South 212.5 ft for a POB: thence continue South 373.0 ft; thence run
N-89054'30"-E 259.91 ft to an iron pin marker; thence run N-01°01'38"-E
79.5 ft to an iron pin marker; thence run N-89030'16"-E 265.26 ft to an
iron pin; thence run N-02°07'33"-E 79.5 ft to an iron pin; thence run
S-89049'47"-W 266.75 ft to a concrete block marker; thence run S-89'52'-W
148.7 ft; thence run N-00'01'59"-W 212.53 ft to an iron pin, thence run
S-89051'35"-W 114.0 ft to the POB. Subject to a ROW over and across
Ingleside Avenue in Fairhope, AL. Tract contains 2.01 acres, more/less,
ROW included, in the SE4 of the NE4 of Sec 20, T6S, R2E, Baldwin Co., Ala.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance,
with a copy of the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the
Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due adoption
and publication as required by law.

We, the undersigned PETITIONER/S, owner/s of the lands in fee simple described
in the attached EXHIBIT A, such property being without the Corporate Limits of
the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the said Corporate Limits;
and such property not lying within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction
of any other municipality, do, by these presents, hereby petition the City of
Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property be annexed into the City
of Fairhope, Alabama.
The subject land is delineated on the map attached hereto as EXHIBIT B.
This petition is filed under authority of Section 11-42-21, Code of Alabama,
1975, as amended.
