WHEREAS, THE FAIRHOPE SINGLE TAX CORPORATION, the owner
of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition
the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation
under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended;
and
WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition
as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying conti-
guous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama;
and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction
of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed
to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit:
Property lies along Windmill Road and Fairhope Avenue Extension, more

properly described as: River Mills Subdivision, Unit One, as

recorded at Slide 1541-B, Probate Records of Baldwin County, Alabama;

contains 15 acres, more or less, and

A fifteen -foot wide strip of land extending south and west from the south
boundary of said River Mills Unit One to the east boundary of Olsen Acres
Subdivision (Map Book 11, Page 196), the eastern corporate limits of
Fairhope, Alabama, said strip of land lying parallel to and along the

west side of the east boundary of the west half of Sec 14, T6S, R2E,
Baldwin County, Alabama, and parallel to and along the north side
of Windmill Road.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance
with a copy of the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded
in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due
adoption and publication as required by law.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
STATE OF ALABAMA
COUNTY OF BALDWIN
We, the undersigned PETITIONER/S, owner/s of the lands in fee simple described
in the attached EXHIBIT A, such property being without the Corporate Limits of
the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the said Corporate Limits;
and such property not lying within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction
of any other municipality, do, by these presents, hereby petition the City of
Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property be annexed into the City
of Fairhope, Alabama.
The subject land is delineated on the map attached hereto as EXHIBIT B.
This petition is filed under authority of Section 11-42-21, Code of Alabama,
1975, as amended.
