HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-967ORDINANCE NO. 5; AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 557 KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: The ordinance known as the Zoning Ordinance (No. 557), adopted 11 August 1975, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Fair - hope, be and the same hereby is changed and altered in respect to that certain property described below: From the Southwest corner of the intersection of Fairhope Avenue and Church Street according to the map of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation lands recorded in Miscellaneous Book No. 1, pages 320-321, Baldwin County, Alabama, Probate Records, run South on West side of Church Street, 225 ft for a POB; thence run South 189 ft; thence West 175 ft; thence North 189 ft; thence East 175 ft to the POB. Land is in fractional Section 18; T6S; R2E; according to the survey of Silas Dinsmore, United States Deputy Surveyor, Map of which survey was approved May 19, 1845. Property owned by Corte Family, E.D. Corte, Jr., Trustee. The classification of said property is hereby changed from R2 Single Family Residential to B2 General Business and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by Ordinance No. 557 and to use said premises for any use permitted by Ordinance No. 557; provided the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Fairhope and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Official of the City of Fairhope and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of Ordinance No. 557. • +, + ADOPTED THIS DAY OF f 19 ix, Mayor Attest e � 0.
