AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 557
KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS:
The ordinance known as the Zoning Ordinance (No. 557), adopted
11 August 1975, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Fair -
hope, be and the same hereby is changed and altered in respect
to that certain property described below:
Two Parcels owned by Angelo A. Corte, both located on the east side of
Highway 98 between Plantation Pines and Parker Road, more properly described:
PARCEL A - TO BE ZONED B2 GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
From the NE Corner of Section 5, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama, run thence
S-0°45'21"-W, 1322.53 ft for a Point of Beginning; thence run N-89°09'34"-
W, 1044.78 ft; thence run S-0°-50'-26"-W, 330 ft; thence run N-89*09'34"-W,
660 ft; thence run N-0'50'26"-E, 291.55 ft; thence run N-89'09'34"-W,
252.60 ft; thence run S-3°43'34"-E, 13.4 ft; thence run S-77-17'45"-W,
182.32 ft to the east boundary of US Hwy 98; thence run southeasterly along
US Hwy 98, 917.62 ft; thence run N-70045'26"-E, 20 ft; thence run
S-19-14'34"-E, 553.08 ft; thence run N-75'-E along Fly Creek 1306 ft; thence
continue along Fly Creek N-49°-E, 540 ft to the boundary common to said
Sections 4 and 5; thence run N-0045'21"-E, 750 ft to the Point of Beginning,
being 50 acres, more of less.
PARCEL B - TO BE ZONED R2 MEDIUM DENSITY SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
From the NE Corner of Section 5, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama, run

thence run S-0050'26"-W, 330 ft; thdpce run N-89°09'34"-W, 660 ft; thence
N-0°50'26"-E, 291.55 ft; thence run N-89'09'34"-W, 252.60 ft; thence,run
S-3°43'34"-E, 13.4 ft; thence run S-77617E45"-W, 182.:32ft to the east'
boundary of US Hwy 98; thence run southeast&ly along U� Hwy 98, 917.62 ft;
thence run N-70*45'26"-E, 20 ft; .thence run S-19'14'34"-E, 553.08'ft for a
Point of Beginning; thence continue S-19'14'34"-E,.300 ft; thence run S-
70-45'26"-W, 30 ft; thence run S-19°14;•34"-E, 920.45 ft to a line that is
the existing northern boundary of fhe'corpdrate Timits of the City of _
Fairhope, Alabama; thence run S-89009'-E, along the aforementioned corporate
border & a projection thereof 3915.54 ft; thence run N-0°45'21"-E, 1322.53
ft; thence run N-89°09'-W, 2640 ft to a point on the boundary common to said
Sections 4 and 5; thence run N-00-45'21"-E, 573 ft; thence run S-490-W
along Fly Creek, 540 ft; thence continue along Fly Creek S-75°-W, 1306 ft
to the Point of Beginning, being 129 acres, more or less.
The classification of said property is hereby changed from
R1 Low Density Single Family Residential to the above named two
zones and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property
any structures permitted by Ordinance No. 557 and to use said
premises for any use permitted by Ordinance No. 557; provided
the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on
said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of
the City of Fairhope and that any structure shall be approved
M M by the Building Official of the City of Fairhope and that any
such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including
a UA the requirements of Ordinance No. 557.
