WHEREAS, CHARLES D. CARTER the owner
of the hereinafter described property, did, in
the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation,
under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama,
and

1975, as amended;
WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition
as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying conti-
guous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama;
and not within the corporate limits of any other municipality;
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope,
Alabama, to -wit:
From the Southeast Corner of Section 20, T6S, R2E, run North 1779.9 ft
and South 89'21' West 40 ft to a point on the West side of Greeno Road
for a point of beginning; thence run S-89°21'-W 350 ft; thence run
North 130 ft; thence run N-89'21'-E 350 ft to a point on Greeno Road; C�
thence run South along Greeno Road 30 ft to the point of beginning. W
EXCEPTING THEREFROM a strip of land 15 ft wide along the North side Clt
thereof, to be used as a joint driveway by the heirs of Willie Carter,
deceased, and their heirs and assigns. Including herewith the right r^
of ingress and egress over a 30-ft wide joint driveway bounding the herein��
described property on the North.
Lot contains 1.044 acres and lies in Lot 5, Section 20, T6S, R2E,
Baldwin County, Alabama
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance,
with a copy of the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded
in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due
adoption and publication as required by law.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION

We, the undersigned PETITIONER/S, owner/s of the lands
lands in fee simple described in the attached Exhibit
A, such property being without the Corporate Limits of the
City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the
said corporate limits, and such property not lying within
the corporate limits or police jurisdiction of any other
municipality, do, by these presents, hereby petition the
City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said
property be annexed into the City of Fairhope, Alabama.
The subject land is delineated on the map attached hereto
as Exhibit B.
This Petition is filed under authority of Section
11--42-21, Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the PETITIONERS have caused these
