HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-915ORDINANCE NO. 9�.J AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 557 KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: The ordinance known as the Zoning Ordinance (No. 557), adopted 11 August 1975, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Fair - hope, be and the same hereby is changed and altered in respect to that certain property described below: Pierce Frederick property described as: A strip of land 150 ft wide beginning at the north right-of-way of Forster Avenue and extending north along the east right- of-way line of Section Street, a distance of 454 ft; containing 1.65 acres, more or less, and lying in the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama. The classification of said property is hereby changed from R2 Medium Density Single Family Residential to R5 TH High Density Multi -Family Residential and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by Ordinance No. 557 and to use said premises for any use permitted by Ordinance No. 557; provided the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Fairhope and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Official of the City of Fairhope and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of Ordinance No. 557.
