WHEREAS, WILLIAM M. and HENRY JONES, the sole owners
of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition
the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation
under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended;
and
WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition
as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying conti-
guous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama;
and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction
of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed
to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit:
Three parcels, south of Fairland Avenue: Parcel "A" owned by William
M. Jones; Parcel "B" owned by Henry Jones; and Parcel "C" owned by I�
William M. & Henry Jones together equally, more properly described:
PARCEL A
Begin at an automobile axle, driven at the Northeast corner of a wire
fence, on the South margin of a 33-ft Street (Fairland Avenue) and
453.0 ft West of the NE corner of the SE4 of the NW4 of Section 20,
T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama; run thence West 70.0 ft to an iron
rod for a POB; run thence South 14' West 194.2 ft to an iron pipe;
run thence West 20.0 ft to a concrete marker; run thence North 2'
West 125.7 ft to a concrete marker on a wire fence line; run thence
North 88' West 14.8 ft to an iron pipe; run thence North 60.2 ft to
a concrete marker at the NW corner of a wire fence; run thence East
90.0 ft to an iron rod and the POB, comprising two parcels of land
as recorded in Deed Books: 143 at Page 378 and 182 at Pages 424-5;
Baldwin County, Alabama, Probate Court Records; and containing
0.235 Acres, more or less.
PARCEL B
Begin at an automobile axle at the Northeast corner of a wire fence,
on the South margin of a 33-ft Street (Fairland Avenue), and 453.0 ft
West of the NE corner of the SE4 of the NW4 of Section 20, T6S, R2E,
Baldwin County, Alabama; run thence South 140 West 194.2 ft to an iron
pipe; run thence West 70.0 ft to an iron pipe; run thence North 14*
East 194.2 ft to an iron rod; run thence East 70.0 ft to the POB;
being the lot of land now lived on by Henry Jones, and containing
0.31 Acres, more or less. Recorded in Deed Books: 116 at Pages 2-3
and 123 at Pages 29-30, Probate Court Records, Baldwin County, Alabama.
PARCEL C
From the North One -Quarter Corner of Section 20, T6S, R2E, run South
1331.5 ft, West 861 ft, South 166.5 ft, and East 64 ft to the NE corner
marking division between Solomon Johnson and Dan & Annie Thorn lands;
thence run due East 60.6 ft, and due South 50.2 ft, for a POB: Thence
run Due South 252.2 ft to a point in an old fence; thence run South
74030' East 158 ft to a point South 140 west, 94 ft from the Southwest
fence corner of the old Louis Wilson place; thence run North 14* East
94 ft, and thence continue North 14' east along the West fence line of
said old Wilson place 231 ft, more or less, to the SW corner of Clara
Johnson's Lot; thence run West 70 ft along Clara Johnson's south line;
thence run North 140 East (parallel to said Wilson fence line) 10 ft;
thence run West 50 ft; thence run South 100 West 33 ft; thence run West
108 ft to the POB. Lot contains 1.2 Acres, more or less, and lies in
the SE4 of the NW4 of Sec 20, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance,
with a copy of the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded
in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due
adoption and publication as required by law.
ADOPTED THIS DAY OF 1992.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
COUNTY OF BALDWIN §
We, WILLIAM M. and HENRY JONES, the owners of the hereinafter
described land in fee simple, such property being without
the Corporate Limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but
being contiguous to the said Corporate Limits, and such property
not lying within the Corporate Limits or Police Jurisdiction
of any other municipality, do by these presents hereby petition
to City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property
be annexed into the City of Fairhope, Alabama.
This petition is filed under the authority of Section
11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama (1975) as amended.
The property to be annexed is described as follows and a
map thereof, showing its position in relation to the Fairhope
Corporate Limits. is attached hereto as an exhibit:
Three parcels, south of Fairland Avenue: Parcel "A" owned by William
M. Jones; Parcel "B" owned by Henry Jones; and Parcel "C" owned by
