HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-895FEE ATE OF ALABAMA BALOVIN COUNTY I CEP,TiFY T:11 INSTILMENT WAS FILED tl i 'CLL ECTED ON JUL 2 9 23 All T DFE0 :'!u TAX LC t:x _ 7 r Aoc.�D N ORDINANCE NO. 995- WHEREAS, JOHN & ALMA MAXINE MIXSON, the owners of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended; and WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying conti- guous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit: The property is located between Greeno Road (US 98) and Booth Road, ex- tends 665 ft from Twin Beech Road north to the southeast corner of Fairhope Memory Gardens (corporate limits); and is more properly de- scribed as: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of the S/W Quarter of the S/W Quarter, Section 21, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama; thence run North along the East boundary of said S/W Quarter 665.0 ft, more or less, to the Corporate Limits of Fairhope, Alabama; thence run West along said Corporate line 10.0 ft; thence run South and parellel to the first course 665.0 ft, more or less, to a point due West of the Point of Beginning; thence run East 10.0 ft to the Point of Beginning, the described parcel of land being the East 10 feet of that certain parcel conveyed to John and Alma Maxine Mixson in Deed Book 71 at Page 237, Probate records of Baldwin County, Alabama. Tract is a strip of land 10.0 feet wide x 665.0 ft, more or less, in length. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama. This petition is filed under authority of Section 11-42-21 of the code of Alabama (1975), as amended.
