BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is hereby established and declared that the followin
escri e real property of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, is no
longer needed for public or municipal purposes, to -wit:
Property consists of a branch bank facility containing approx-
imately 3,155 sq ft located on a lot being approximately 100 ft
by 175 ft; address 107 North Section Street, Fairhope, Alabama;
more particularly described as the East 350 ft of Lots 1, 6, and
7 of Swift's Subdivision to the Town of Fairhope as recorded in
Map Book 1, Page 13 of the records in the Judge of Probate Office,
Baldwin County, Alabama.
Section 2. Pursuant to the authority granted by Section 11-47-21,
Code of Alabama (1975 as amended), the Mayor of the City of
Fairhope, Alabama, is hereby directed and authorized in the name
of the City of Fairhope to execute a lease between the City of
Fairhope as Lessor, and FIRST ALABAMA BANK of Montgomery, Alabama,
as Lessee, of the property described in Section 1 above.
Section 3. It is hereby declared to be in the best interest of
the pu lic and the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to enter into the
lease referred to in Section 2 above.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its due a option and publication as required by law.
