O. bWR 420 FAIR1100=; AL 86930 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. It is hereby established and declared that the following -described real property of the City of Fairhope, Baldwin County, Alabama, is no longer needed for public or municipal purposes, to -wit: From the Northwest corner of Section 23, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama, run thence South 89 degrees 59 minutes 45 seconds East 1782.8 feet; thence South 00 degrees 41 minutes 15 seconds West, 442.26 feet to an iron pin; thence South 89 degrees 55 minutes 15 seconds East, 437.54 feet to an iron pin; thence South 00 degrees 03 minutes 44 seconds West, 325 feet; thence North 89 degrees 55 minutes 25 seconds West, 445 feet for a Point of Beginning; thence North 89 degrees 55 minutes 15 seconds West, 420 feet; thence North 89 degrees 49 minutes 34 seconds West, 735.6 feet; thence North 00 degrees 06 minutes East, 81.8 feet; thence North 89 degrees 57 minutes West, 575 feet to a point on the East right-of-way line of Baldwin County Highway 27; thence South 00 degrees 06 minutes West along said right-of-way 140 feet; thence South 89 degrees 55 minutes 15 seconds East, 1731.6 feet; thence North 00 degrees 04 minutes 45 seconds East, 58.2 feet to the Point of Beginning. Section 2. Excepting, however, from this conveyance, and reserving unto the grantor (City of Fairhope), all of the oil, gas and other minerals in, on and under said described real property, together with all rights therein and thereto, including the right of convenient access for the purpose of exploiting, removing and marketing any such oil, gas and other minerals. Section 3. That the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute and attest respec- tively, for and on behalf of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, a statutory warranty deed, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, whereby the City of Fairhope, Alabama, does convey the premises described in Section 1, hereof to the public at large for a public road for and in consideration of the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due adoption and publication as required by law. ADOPTED THIS 26th DAY OF JUNE, 1989.
