OF FAIRHOPE P.O.DWP4 9 FA18HCJ'L, AL 36633 WHEREAS, the owners of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama (1975) as amended; and WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, that the following described property lying contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope, to -wit: The FAIRHOPE AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH property described as follows: From the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, Section 16, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, run North along the East boundary of said Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter a distance of 40 feet to a point on the North margin of the right-of-way of a road known as Fairhope Avenue, for a Point of Beginning: Thence continue North along said East boundary 691.2 feet, run West and parallel to Fairhope Avenue 283.3 feet; run thence South 691.2 feet to a point on the North side of Fairhope Avenue; run thence East along Fairhope Avenue 283.3 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 4.49 acres, more or less, and lying in the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, less and excepting therefrom; From the Southwest corner of the SW1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 16, T6S, R2E, run East along the half section line (which is the approximate centerline of County Rd #48), a distance of 1,051.2 feet; thence run N-00 degree 08 minutes-E 631.2 feet to the Point of Beginning: thence run N-00 degree 88 minutes-E 100 feet; thence run East 100 feet; thence run S-00 degree 08 minutes-W 100 feet; thence run West 100 feet to the Point of Beginning. The above site contains 0.23 acres, more or less, and lies entirely in the SW1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 16, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the City of Fairhope, Alabama, that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of the Petition for Annexation and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama. DWR 429 FAIRHOPE, A6 36533 THE FAIRHOPE AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH, acting by and through its trustees and being the Owner of the hereinafter -described land in fee simple, such property being without the Corporate Limits of The City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the said Corporate Limits, and such property not lying within the Corporate Limits or Police Jurisdiction of any other municipality, hereby petitions the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property be annexed into the City of Fairhope, Alabama.
