Jones and wife, Rebecca B. Jones, are the owners in fee simple of the hereinafter described property did by Petition, petition the City of Fairhope, Alabama, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Act 2228, adopted in the 1971 Regular Session of the Legislature of the State of Alabama, and WHEREAS, a map of said parcel of said property is attached to said Petition. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, by these presents do hereby annex all of the hereinafter described property, which is contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama and more particularly described as follows to wit: From the Southwest corner of Section 19, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama, run thence North on the Section line 2785 feet to a point on the North line of the Overton lot; thence S-74008'-E, 235.4 feet along the North line of the Overton lot, as designated by a wire fence dividing the two proper- ties, to an iron stake on the West right-of-way of Eastern Shore Boulevard for a point of Beginning and which is the Southeast corner of the land herein described; thence N-9030'-E, 118.5 feet to an iron stake on the West margin of said highway; thence N-76030'-W, 600 feet to a point on Mobile Bay; thence S-160-W along the bay 105.8 feet along the bay to the Northwest corner of the Overton lot; thence S-74°08'-E along the Overton North line, 600 feet to the point of Beginning. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the. City of Fairhope, Alabama that the City does by these presents assent to the said annexation to City of Fairhope of the hereinabove described property. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the City of Fairhope, Alabama, that a Certified copy of this Ordinance, along with the Petition of Annexation and the map attached thereto be recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Baldwin County, Alabama. aA41o, " CITY OF FAIRHOPE 1 P. JONES, being the property owners of the hereinafter described property, such property being without the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, and such property not lying within the corporate limits of police jurisdiction of any other municipality, do by these presents hereby Petition the City of Fairhope, Alabama, a municipal corporation, to annex said property into the City of Fairhope, Alabama. A map of said property is attached hereto and made a part as though fully set out herein.
