V AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER -DESCRIBED PROPERTY WHICH PROPERTY IS CONTIGUOUS TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, SAID ANNEXATION BEING BY PETITION OF ALL OWNERS THEREOF: WHEREAS, B. TOMMY SPRINGER, JR. and LUCY MARIE SPRINGER, husband and wife, the "Owners" of the hereinafter -described property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama (1975) as amended; and WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit. r- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of C4 C� the City of Fairhope, Alabama that the following -described property lying contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of "airhope, Alabama, be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope, to -wit: From the SE corner of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 16, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, run North along N.S. half section line 735 feet to POINT OF BEGINNING: Thence run West 231 feet; thence run South 85.8 feet; thence run East 231 feet; thence run North 85.8 feet to POINT OF BEGINNING; said property lies in the SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Sec. 16, T6S, R2F., Baldwin County, Alabama; subject to a 30 foot roadway and power line easement along the East side of said property. qji CITY OF FAIRHOPE P. 0. That the undersigned petitioners request the following described territory to be annexed to the City of Fairhope, State of Alabama, pursuant to Section 11-42-21. It is a condition of this petition and agreement to be annexed that the territory come into the City zoned, M-1 Light Industrial District and R-6 Mobile Home District Parcels A and B respectively. That the described territory is contiguous to the City of Fairhope, State of Alabama. M That the described territory does not lie within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction of any other municipality. WHEREFORE, Petitioners pray that the governing body of the City of Fairhope, State of Alabama, adopt an ordinance assenting to the annexation of said territory to the City of Fairhope, that the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, State of Alabama, be extended and rearranged so as to embrace and include the described territory, that the territory be zoned as. aforesaid, and that such other proceedings and actions as are described in Section 11-42-21);of:: the' .Code. of Wk �f P\RHppE Q\'p\- -3- Alabama be taken to annex said territory to the City of Fairhope.
