AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 557
KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, as follows:
The Ordinance known as the Zoning Ordinance (No. 557),
adopted 11 August 1975, together with the Zoning Map of the City
of Fairhope, be and the same hereby is changed and altered in
respect to that certain property described below:
Property of KNIGHTS OF ECOR ROUGE, INC., on Pecan Avenue between
South Section Street and Lovett Lane:
PARCEL A - M1 ZONE
From a point on the west boundary of Lovett Lane which point bears
N 59 degrees, 51 minutes W, 1024.23 ft from a point which is N 0
degrees, 4 minutes W, 2198.4 ft from the southeast corner of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 20, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County,
Alabama; run thence S 22 degrees, 3 minutes, 16 seconds W, 319.72
ft; thence N 56 degrees, 6 minutes, 17 seconds W, 180 ft for a
Point of Beginning; thence N 22 degrees, 3 minutes, 16 seconds E,
100 ft; thence N 56 degrees, 6 minutes, 17 seconds W, 285.4 ft;
thence S 31 degrees, 24 minutes, 21 seconds W, 557.14 ft; thence S
68 degrees, 46 minutes, 54 seconds E, 337.12 ft; thence N 22
degrees, 45 minutes, 26 seconds E, 208 ft; thence N 32 degrees, 11
minutes, 24 seconds E, 180.82 ft to the Point of Beginning.
PARCEL B - R6 ZONE
From a point on the west boundary of Lovett Lane which point bears
N 59 degrees, 51 minutes W, 1024.23 ft from a point which is N 0
degrees, 4 minutes W, 2198.4 ft from the southeast corner of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 20, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County,
Alabama, run thence S 22 degrees, 3 minutes, 16 seconds W, 319.72
ft for a Point of Beginning; thence S 22 degrees 3 minutes, 16
seconds W, 139.13 ft; thence N 68 degrees, 28 minutes, 47 seconds
W, 208 ft; thence N 32 degrees, 11 minutes, 24 seconds E, 180.82
ft; thence S 56 degrees, 6 minutes, 17 seconds E, 180 ft to the
Point of Beginning.
The classification of said property is hereby established to
be M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (PARCEL A) and R-6 MOBILE HOMES (PARCEL B)
concurrent with annexation and it shall hereafter be lawful to
construct on such property any stLuctures permitted by Ordinance
No. 557 and to use said premises for any use permitted by
Ordinance No. 557; provided the plans for any structure or
building sought to be erected on said property shall be in
compliance with the building laws of the City of Fairhope and that
any structure shall be approved by the Building Official of the
City of Fairhope and that any such structure be erected only in
compliance with such laws, including the requirements of Ordinance
No. 557.
