AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 557
KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, as follows:
The Ordinance known as the Zoning Ordinance (No. 557),
adopted 11 August 1975, together with the Zoning Map of the City
of Fairhope, be and the same hereby is changed and altered in
respect to that certain property described below:
JULIO CORTE, JR., PROPERTY: BEGINNING AT A POINT which is 40 feet
east and 30 feet south of the northwest corner of the SW 112 of
the NW 1/4 of Section 16, T6S, R2E, run thence southerly and
parallel to the section line 632.48 feet; thence north 89 degrees
56 minutes 57 seconds east 1177.94 feet; thence north 0 degrees 11
minutes 20 seconds east 632.86 feet to Edwards Avenue; thence
south 89 degrees 55 minutes 53 seconds west along Edwards Avenue
1177.79 feet to the point of beginning, less and excepting the
north 140 feet and the west 200 feet thereof.
The classification of said property is hereby changed from R5
High Density Multi Family Residential to B4 Business and
Professional and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such
property any structures permitted by Ordinance No. 557 and to use
said premises for any use permitted by Ordinance No. 557; provided
the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on
said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the
City of Fairhope and that any structure shall be approved by the
Building Official of the City of Fairhope and that any such
structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including
the requirements of Ordinance No. 557.
