AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 557
KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FA IRHOPE,
ALABAMA, as follows:
The Ordinance known as the Zoning Ordinance (No. 557),
adopted 11 August 1975, together with the Zoning Map of the City
of Fairhope, be and the same hereby is changed and altered in
respect to that certain property described below:
Fritz Crane property on west side of Greeno Road, north of Busy
Bee Service Center on corner of Fairhope Avenue and Greeno Road,
more properly described as: From the half -section corner on the
east line of Section 17, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama, run
thence 40 feet north and 40 feet west to the northwest corner of
Fairhope Avenue and Greeno Road; thence north along Greeno Road
300 feet for a Point of Beginning: thence west 318 feet; thence
north along the northern projection of the west boundary of a
25-foot drainage easement 323.3 feet; thence east 318 feet to
Greeno Road; thence south along Greeno Road 323.3 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 2.36 acres, more or less.
The classification of said property is hereby changed from R5
Heavy Density Multi -Family Residential to B4 Business and
Professional Offices and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct
on such property any structures permitted by Ordinance No. 557 and
to use said premises for any use permitted by Ordinance No. 557;
provided the plans for any structure or building sought to be
erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building
laws of the City of Fairhope and that any structure shall be
approved by the Building Official of the City of Fairhope and that
any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws,
including the requirements of Ordinance No. 557.
ADOPTED THIS 13 DAY OF 1986.
