AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 557, ADOPTED
11 August 1975, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, as
follows: The Ordinance commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance
adopted 11 August 1975 together with the Zoning Map of the City of
Fairhope, be and the same hereby is changed and altered in respect
to that certain property described as follows:
Mrs. Adalade Malone, 250 Burgandy Street: From the NE corner of Sec. 19,
T6S, R2E, run S 89° 45'W along the N. line of said Sec. 19, 683.5 ft. to
a point on the center line of Church St.; thence run S 37°17'W along the
center line of Church St., 596.8 ft.; thence run S 55° E, 130 ft to an
iron marker on the south margin of Burgundy St. for a point of beginning;
Thence continue S 55' E along the south margin of Burgundy St. 218.7 ft.
to an iron marker; thence run S 28°41'W 129 ft. to an iron marker; thence
run N 55° W along and with a fence 238 ft to an iron marker; thence run
N 37017'E 128.4 ft. to a point of beginning. Parcel contains 0.67 acres
in NE-4 of the NE% of Sect. 19, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama.
The classification of said property is hereby changed from R-2,
Medium Density Single Family Residential,to R-3, High Density
Single Family Residential and it shall hereafter be lawful to con-
struct on such property any structures permitted by Ordinance No.
557 and to use said premises for any use permitted by the terms of
Ordinance No. 557; provided, however, that the plans for any
structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall
be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Fairhope
and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Official
of the City of Fairhope and that any such structure be erected only
in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said
Ordinance No. 557.
