OF FAIRHOPE, ALAB94A; AND ALL GAS CUSTOVIERS OUTSIDE TEE CITY (LIFTS OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA; AND TO DESIGNATE EACH CLASS OF CUSTOMERS THEREIN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF FAIRHOPE, that the follow- ing rate designations for all gas customers served by the City of Fairhope is hereby established: G 1 Inside General Service G 2 Outside General Service G 3 Inside - Large Commercial & Industrial G 4 Outside - Large Commercial & Industrial G 5 Special Rates (Daphne) G 6 City Use (Valued on Inside General Service) SUFFIX C Indica.tes Commercial Accounts S Indicates School Accounts SECTION I - GENERAL, SERVICE WITHIN CITY LIMITS - G 1 (Residential & Small Commercial) Applicability Applicable for natural gas service to individual dwellings and apart- ments, municipal and school buildings, and small individual commercial establishments whose physical location is within the corporate limits. Service to more than one premises shall not be combined, nor shall it be shared with or resold to others. Monthly Rate First 300 cu. ft. or less for $2.60, plus Next 1,000 cu. ft. or less @ $ .51 per 100 cubic feet, plus Next 8,700 cu. ft. or less @ .44 per 100 cubic feet, plus Next 90,000 cu. ft. or less ( .38 per 100 cubic feet, plus All over 100,000 cubic feet @ .35 per 100 cubic feet. Minimum Bill e r_u u'xn mn monthly bill shall be $ 2.60. Reconnection Fee A customer who suspends service for seasonal reasons will be charged a reconnection fee of $ 20.00. Taxes The above rate is that charged by the City, and any additional charges levied by State or Federal authorities, such as the 4% Educational Tax, will be in addition to the above rate schedule. Panment Bills for service rendered hereunder are payable within ten(10) days from due date, and if not paid within such period, a 5% penalty will be added to the total amount billed. SECTION II - GENERAL SERVICE OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS - G 2 (Residential & Small Commercial) Applicability Applicable for natural gas service to individual family dwellings and apartments, Municipal and school buildings, and small individual commercial establishments whose physical location is outside the corporate limits of Fairhope. Service to more than one premises shall not be combined(unless served through one meter), nor shall it be shared with or resold to others. Monthly Rate First 300 Oi.Ft. or less for $3.35, plus Next 1,000 Di.Ft. or less @ $ .58 per 100 cubic feet, plus Next 8,700 Cu.Ft. or less @ .46 per 100 cubic feet, plus Next 90,000 Cu.Ft. or less @ .40 per 100 cubic feet, plus All over 100,000 Cubic.feet @ .36 per 100 cubic feet, Minimum Bill The minimun monthly bill shall be $3.35. Reconnection Fee A customer who suspends service for seasonal reasons will be charged a reconnection fee of $ 25.00. SECTION III - INSIDE LARGE W11ERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL RATE - G 3 licability App ica le to large commercial and industrial customers whose median monthly consumption is 100 r1CF or above on an interruptable basis. Service to more than one premises shall not be combined (unless served through one meter), nor shall it be shared with or resold to others. Monthly Rate First 20,000 Cu. Ft. or less for $84.00, plus Next 80,000 Cu. Ft. or less @ .38 per 100 cubic feet, plus Next 900,000 Cu. Ft. or less @ .35 per 100 cubic feet, plus All over 1,000,000 cubic feet @ .33 per 100 cubic feet. Minimum Bill The minimin monthly bill shall be $84.00. Taxes The above rate is that charged by the City, and any additional charges levied by State or Federal authorities, such as the 47. Educational Tax, will be in addition to the above schedule and related charges. Delivery Pressure Normal delivery pressure to the customer shall be determined by the pressure available in the City's mains at the customer's location and may be reduced, as necessary, by the City to comply with supplier and regulatory curtailment directives under the current Modified IV Catagory Plan. Where the customer's operational pressure requirements exceed the delivery pressure available at the customer's location, thur requiring the installation of increased compressor capacity, a pressure factor(corresponding to the psig) will be used to calculate actual monthly consumption billed. Payment Bills for service rendered hereunder are payable within ten(10) days from due date, and if not paid within such period a five(TQ penalty will be added to the total amount billed. Term of Contract Service hereunder shall be for a minimum initial period of one(1) year, and thereafter from month to month until terminated by thirty(30) days written notice, or as specified in the contract for service. SECTION IV - OUTSIDE LAP.(, CC711ERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL RATE G 4 Applicabili Applicable to large commercial and industrial customers whose median monthly consumption is 100MCF or above on an interruptable basis. Service to more than one premises shall not be combined (unless served through one meter or if specified in the original contract for service), nor shall it be shared with or resold to others. Monthly Rate First 20,000 Cu. Ft. or less for 887.00, plus Next 80,000 Cu. Ft. or less a .38 per 100 cubic feet, plus Next 900,000 Cu. Ft. or less 0 .35 per 100 cubic feet, plus All over 1,000,000 cubic feet @ .33 per 100 cubic feet. Minimum Bill The minimm monthly bill shall be $ 87.00 Taxes The above rate is that charged by the City, and any additional charges levied by State or Federal suthorities, such as the 4% Educational Tax, will be in addition to the above schedule and related charges. Daily Overrun Penalty In the event that a Maximum Daily Quantity)MW) overrun penalty is levied against the City due, in part or whole, to industrial delivery overruns, the industry will pay a daily overrun penalty of $1.00 per hundred cubic feet (Ccf) against all units in excess of the industry's established M XQ, in addition to the above rate schedule. Payment Bills for service rendered hereunder are payable within ten(10) days from due date, and if not paid within such period, a 5% penalty shall be added.to the amount of total bill rendered. Term of Contract Service hereunder shall be for a minimum initial period of one(1) year, and thereafter from month to month until terminated by thirty(30) days written notice, or as specified in the contract for service. SECTION V - If any part of this Ordinance shall be ruled unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, then all other parts or sections herein shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION VI- Any and all Ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION VII-This Ordinance shall take effect July 27, 1979, after its due adoption and publication as required by law. ADOPTED THIS THE 23rd DAY OF JULY, 1979. I01
