Outreach (watershed signage) may also be included. •If awarded, this grant would supplement Fairhope’s existing litter program which includes street sweeping, litter pick up by Public Works staff and the existing litter boom in the Winn Dixie pond off Morphy Avenue. •MS4 (Fairhope’s stormwater permit) requires Fairhope to have an ever-evolving litter program and encourages monitoring and reporting quantities of litter collected. This will help us achieve that goal. •This grant requires no matching funding from the City of Fairhope •The details of this proposal include staff being involved in grant acquisition, coordination with the contractor and reporting. •If awarded, the contractor would provide installation, materials and maintenance of all litter abatement devices. Furthermore, litter collection will be conducted by the contractor at and around the abatement site (within 100’ of abatement site) and these amounts will be included in the reporting and profiling of litter collected. •Pictured: Volanta Gully near Pensacola Avenue •Location #1 •Big Mouth Gully •Proposed: Special Litter trap outside drain •North Section at Bayou Drive (NE corner at school) •(Drain pictured downhill is not a candidate for litter abatement since it was installed without a manhole). •Approved by RJ 2/14/23 • •Location #2 •Big Mouth Gully •Proposed: Basin litter trap (on top of weir structure) •General Location: North Section at Bayou inside basin •Approved by RJ 2/13/23 •Location #3 •Big Mouth Gully •Proposed: Litter Interceptor inside drain •Bayou Drive @ North Section (NE corner at school) •(Drain pictured downhill is not a candidate for litter abatement since it was installed without a manhole). •Approved by RJ @ 2/14/2023 meeting •Location #4 •Big Mouth Gully •Proposed: Litter Interceptor •North Section Street at City Hall (Statue) near Oak Street •Note: Litter observed in drain •Approved by RJ at 2/14/23 meeting •Location #5 •Big Mouth Gully •Proposed: Litter Interceptor •North Section at Oak Street, SE corner (in front of old dentist office) •Approved by RJ 2/14/23 •Location #6 •Stack Gully @ North Beach park entrance near Rose Garden •Proposed: Litter Interceptor •Approved by RJ 2/14/23 •Location #7 •Big Mouth Gully •Proposed: Special Litter Interceptor •Rough Schematic is needed •North Beach Park at old boat ramp •Approved by RJ 2/14/23 • •Location #8 •Stack Gully •Proposed: Litter Interceptor •Rose Garden, north side •Approved by RJ 2/14/23 •Location #9 •Stack Gully •Proposed: Litter Interceptor •Rose Garden, southwest side •Approved by RJ 2/14/23 •Location #10 •Stack Gully •Proposed: Litter Interceptor •Coastal Alabama College •Morphy & Bancroft •Approved by RJ 2/14/23 •Location #11 •Cowpen Creek •Proposed: Litter Interceptor •Shell station •Fairhope Avenue @ U.
