SECTION .1.8--2 - ET.111='T IMPROVEMENTS-FLEQUIREMENTS (a) Fayr ing,_Curbing , GuttOrin� g, Stt:ray .)rainagea,_ Water Linen and Sanitary Seer Lines. Sand clay shall meet current Alabama State Highway Dimpmrtment Specifications. The contraotor shall furnish the authorized agent of the City borings made by an approved laborator.l, showing the thick.uesrss of the base. Borings to be made at di,rstancee not groater than 200' apart. If the base in found to be 18138 than they required depth, the street will not be accepted until the nescaBoaty corrections have been made, or the required thicknese bbtained as directed by the authorized agent of the City. Cosmpa.ct-• ion of subgrsade and base courses shall meet current .11aliama -2- State Highway Department Specifications, except that tesatr shall be made at intervals not to exceed 200' apart. The contractor may be required to remove and replace, at no expenst to the Cityr any base not meeting the Specifications„ .&e halt wearing Court Asphalt surfacing shall be lh4 Mick after compaction. The contractor or subdivider shall furnish the authorized agent of the City borings, made by an approved laboratory, showing the thickness of the asphalt surfacing. Borings to be made at distaneen not greater than 200' apart.. if tile asphalt is Zound to be less than the required depth, the streets will not .be accepted until the necessary corrections;, have been madev or the required thickness obtained as directed by clie authorized ugent of the City. The contractor may be required to remove and replace, at no expense to the City, any asphalt not meeting the Specifications. ' (b) Street Markers, Only City standardreinforced concrete markers shall be erected, or othrur standard markers an desired by the City. (c) Concrete Monuments. Concrete monu- Monts shall .be set according to the City Planning Conmission Regulations. x (d) Testing Laboratory. An approved testing laboratory shall be employed to make tests. This wil.l in no way keep the authorized agent of the City from making any a,ddi_ IU0nal tests he may deem necessary. (e) General-. The person, firm or corporation, 9.ncluding, but not limited to, contractors and subcontractrors, subdividers, land developers, governing bodies, or otters rhaell furnish the City a maintenance bond guaranteeing the repair of all damage due to improper materi&lk or workmanship f.ar a period of -two (2) years after the acceptance of the work by the city. -3- ALL ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same 6-re hereby RL'PLALED.
