Councilman Sam E. Box introduced the following Ordinance:,:

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 586 TO ESTABLISH
THAT ALL CUSTOMERS USING A 2 INCH, 3 INCH, AND 4 INCH CONNECTI
SHALL PAY FOR THE ENTIRE COST OF METERS AND TO PAY THE COSTS
OF INSTALLATION OF THE SAME.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE

FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA:
That Ordinance No. 586 be, and the same is hereby AMENDED
to read as follows:
Any customer desiring to connect with the City's water
supply on. a 12 inch, 2-inch, 3-inch or 4-inch connection or
larger, shall pay to the CITY OF FAIRHOPE the costs of the
meter and to pay all costs of installing the same, in addition
to the regular rates as set out in the Original Ordinance No.
586.
Any and all other Ordinances in conflict herewith, be, and
the same are hereby REPEALED.
This Ordinance shall take effect upon its due adoption
and publication as required by law.
