POSER are the owners of all the land abutting a the City of Fairhope, Alabama, which said follows, to -wit: That certain street 50 feet in width which lies West of Lots 6 and 7 of the Hoyle-Worchester Addition to Fairhope as recorded in Map Book 1, Page 1, of the Probate Records i of Baldwin County, Alabama, and lies immediately East of Fairhope, running South from Nichols Street 346 feet, more or 'less, all according to plat of Hoyle-Worchester Addition to Fairhope, as recorded in Map Book 1, Page 1, of the Probate Records of Baldwin County, Alabama. WHEREAS, MATTHEW P. DIAL, JR., DORIS DIAL, WALTER 0. POSER and ELEANORE H. POSER, as owners, have executed a declaration of vacation, vacating all of the land constituting said street as above described and desire to divest any and all right which the }public may have in and to that portion of said street and the use ithereof by virtue of the establishment of same; and WHEREAS, it is reported to the City Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, that convenient means of ingress and egress is .afforded to all property owners in the. area in which this street: ,is located by remaining streets, alleys and avenues therein loca- ted, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, that the vacation of the street above described in the City of Fairhope, Alabama, is hereby assented to, acquiesced in and authorized by the City Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama. Niemeyer be appointed to perform the duties of the Mayor in the Municipal Election since the Mayor is a cand- idate for re-election. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman H. G. Bishop seconded by Councilman Sam Box that the bills be approved for payment as submitted. Motion carried. It was duly moved and seconded that the meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
