S -7 AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT ANY PERSON OR PERSONS FROM LOITERING, BLOCKING PUBLIC STEPS LEADING TO THE BEACHES ALONG MOBILE STREET AND NORTH ALONG THE BEACH AREA OR TO LOITER ABOUT THE SAME, AND ANY PERSON FOUND GUILTY THEREOF SHALL BE FINED NOT LESS THAN ONE NOR MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS OR PLACED IN THE BALDWIN COUNTY JAIL FOR A PERIOD NOT EXCEEDING SIX MONTHS OR BY BOTH FINE AND IMPRISONMENT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ABAMA THAT: SECTION 1 - It is hereby declared to be unlawful for any person or persons, to sit on, block, interfere with moving traffic, or loiter about any public steps, leading from Mobile Street to the Beach, or any public steps along said Beach North of Fairhope Avenue and South of Fairhope Avenue, and any person found guilty thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than ONE ($1.00) DOLLAR nor more than TWO HUNDRED ($200.00) DOLLARS, and may also be imprisoned in the Baldwin County Jail for a period not exceeding Six Months (6),or by both fine and imprisonment ct the discretion of the Court.
